1.The producer supports the Yotsuba Producer Charter and is engaged in the production
　of produce as the utmost respect and belief of the charter.

2.Farming method　With farming that utilizes the characteristics of each region that
　has been passed down in the climate and natural features of Japan as the foundation,
　crop rotation will be respected, soil will be prepared using organic fertilizers, and produce
　will be produced without any form of pesticides or chemical herbicides.
　However, in cases where it is determined that there may be a detrimental impact to
　production, the above standards can be partially and temporarily deviated from on
　the prerequisite of full disclosure of all facts.

3.Agricultural field　The agricultural field that will be used must be one on which
　produce has been produced continuously for at least three years using the farming
　method stipulated in (2) above.

4.Seeds　Use of seeds of genetically modified crops is prohibited. Organically cultivated
　seeds and seedlings must be used so long as they can be acquired.

5.Environmental protection　From the perspective of protecting the surrounding
　environment, thorough considerations must be made regarding the organic fertilizer
　used on agricultural fields and agricultural materials used in production.
